草山月世界
Caoshan Moon World
位於左鎮區與高雄市內門交界處，稱泥岩惡地地形，含鹽份高，使得草木難生，乾燥時硬似石塊，雨量豐沛時沖蝕切割，呈光禿鋸齒狀斜坡，造成半面山深谷曲流的特殊地形，在這種惡地上最常見的植物是刺竹與銀合歡，其餘盡是光禿一片，成為最典型的月世界地形。
Located at the border of Zuojhen District and Neimen District in Kaohsiung City, Caoshan Moon World features high-salinity mudstone badlands. The harsh soil makes it difficult for most plants to grow. In dry periods, the ground hardens like stone, while heavy rainfall erodes the slopes, forming exposed, jagged slopes and a unique landscape of steep hills and winding valleys. The most common plants here are thorny bamboo and white popinac, while much of the land remains bare, creating the region’s most typical Moon World landscape.
